| Erin beat me at racquetball today. However, it may be of consolation that I snaked her several times. This weekend I may or may not go visit Erin's friend Lisa in Memphis. It depends on several factors. And, I am about to watch the 1997 version of 12 Angry Men. I hope it's as good as the original version. Word to ya mothas. | | |
| Today I did a speech. The topic was "how the trumpet is played". Well, I worked on it for like an hour and a half and didn't follow the guidelines.....those are what I got graded upon. Bleh. So I got a 72. Whoopty frickin' doo. The guy who told us how to make a Christmas ornament using a 3 inch styrofoam ball, pins, and 2 different colors of material who had about 1 minute of silence got an 86. Which means either I was horrendous beyond all repair, or she dislikes me.
I just finished The Subtle Knife. A very flippin' awesome trilogy thus far. I merely have the final book to read, and I shall be finished. I highly recommend it to everyone. Except that RA who asked Erin for magazines at the desk one day......she doesn't really like to read and this book doesn't have any pictures. So pseudo-Texan rednecks who are engaged to French foreign exchange students should neglect this trilogy and breathing.
Btw, I am now a lvl 36 Rogue, soon to have over 100g to buy a mount.
| All right. It's that historical day again. It. Is. Pi. Day. That means it's Erin's birthday. Oh yeah, and Albert Einstein's, too. (coincidence!?!?!? I think not!) I highly recommend "His Dark Materials" to anyone. It's a rather thrilling read so far.
How to survive an avalanche:
1. Struggle to stay on top of the snow by using a freestyle swimming motion.
2. If you are only partially buried, dig your way out with your hands or by kicking at the snow. If you have a ski pole, poke through the snow until you feel open air.
3. If you are completely buried, dig a small hole around you, and spit in it. The saliva will fall down, giving you an idea of which direction is up. Dig up.
| Holy crap! I've not been on here in forever. I'm gonna take away the George W. Bush tomfoolery. I've been sad lately. That is all. | | |
| I haven't posted on here in a long time. But today is a special occassion. I am officially declaring the first wednesday of November Blue Wednesday.....in recognition of Bush's first-time being elected in 2004. Anyone with suggestions on how to make the day better please give me some talk time. 865-805-3135. | | |
